Matthew Charles “Matt” Czuchry, born May 20, 1977, is an American actor. Matt portrayed Logan Huntzberger on Gilmore Girls (seasons 5-7) and co-starred as Cary Agos on the CBS television series The Good Wife.

Matt was born in Manchester, New Hampshire and grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee. His parents are Andrew Czuchry, is a professor at East Tennessee State University, and his mother, Sandra, and he has two brothers and a sister. On his father’s side, he is of Ukrainian descent.

In 1995, Matt graduated Science Hill High School. In 1999, Matt graduated with honors from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science, and in 1998 he won the Mr College of Charleston pageant. Matt took one theater class in college, and he was encouraged by his professor to change his major to drama.

In 2000, Matt had a recurring role in WB’s Young Americans. In 2002, Matt appeared in the films Eight Legged Freaks and Slap Her, She’s French! He had a recurring guest role on the CBS drama Hack, and starred in the pilot of Jake 2.0. Matt became better known for his role as Logan Huntzberger on the television series Gilmore Girls. Matt has guest starred on Freaks and Geeks, 7th Heaven, Veronica Mars and Friday Night Lights. In 2009, he portrayed the lead role in the film I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell. From 2009 to 2016, Matt portrayed Cary Agos on the CBS drama The Good Wife for all seven seasons.

Matt performed in Wendy Wasserstein’s play, Third, from September 11 to October 28 in 2007.
